Newman’s were called upon to provide their unique services to a commercial client to undertake an extensive survey to a four storey office block that was under refurbishment.

A Concrete Repair Survey was undertaken by our surveyors who found extensive defects including cancer of the concrete, oxidised and corroded reinforcing bar, defective supporting beams and pillars due to poor construction and hairline cracking.

We provided the client with a detailed CAD specification highlighting the extent of the concrete failure and necessary structural repairs.

Our trained technicians carried out the concrete repairs using various methods of trowel applied repair mortars and resins to the defective areas that included the floors walls and ceilings. Newman’s specialise in the use of Sika, Fosroc and Flexcrete products restoring the structural integrity of the concrete.

The project was completed on time and within the agreed budget providing a guaranteed permanent repair.
