A new contract awarded today is a Wall Tie Replacement contract to a large Victorian built semi detached residential property that is currently under going a refurbishment. Whilst the builder was carrying out inspections and repairs to the render he noticed horizontal cracking that caused concern.
A survey was carried out and Wall Tie Failure was identified and a specification provided that would prevent any further Wall Tie Failure that would be backed with a 20 year insurance backed guarantee.
